Pet Information

Hawai`i is rabies-free, therefore strict rules and regulations apply when pets enter the islands. Hawai`i Law states that animals are required to complete a 120-day confinement in the State Animal Quarantine Station. If specific pre-arrival and post arrival requirements are met, animals may qualify for a 30-day quarantine or a new 5-day-or-less quarantine. Fees range from approximately $175 to $1,100 and are subject to change. The Animal Quarantine Station is located on the island of O‘ahu. Neighbor Islanders must plan accordingly.
