What are Foundation Courses?

Similar in content to the Department of Education's (DOE) Intermediate and Advanced noncredit training courses. Upon successful completion, the EA Foundation courses earn participants 9 college credits.

Who can take these courses?

Priority will be given to educational assistants working in an instructional setting.

Can I earn a degree with these courses?

Yes! These courses can lead to certificates and degrees. The UHCC and the DOE have collaborated to establish a career path for those interested in obtaining a teaching degree. The College Credit Path explains this further.
